  • Notebook Paper

  • Spiral Notebooks (metal sprials can be recycled by plastic ones need to be removed

  • Computer Paper

  • Newspapers

  • Magazines

  • Phone books

  • Text books

  • Envelopes 

  • Post-its

 

Does NOT accept the following items:

  • Waxed food/drink containers (milk carton)

  • Paper coffee cups

  • Plastic notebook spirals/covers

  • Laminated paper

  • Used paper plates

  • Q-tips

  • Cotton balls

  • Tissues

  • Used paper towels

  • Sticker backing

Plastic Containers

 

The bins labeled plastic accept the following items:

  • All colors and numbers 1-7 of bottles

  • Cold beverage cups & lids

  • Hot beverage lids

  • Jugs, cups, jars, tubs

  • Pails & buckets

  • Dairy, deli food, sauce/condiment & cooking oil containers without clamshell hinges

  • Soap, detergent & household cleaner containers

  • Snack food & frozen food containers

  • Hair/body care bottles and containers

 

Does NOT accept the following items:

  • Plastic grocery bags

  • Thin plastic film

  • Ziploc bags

Aluminum/Tin & Glass

 

The bins labeled aluminim/tin or glass accept the following items:

  • All types of cans

  • Clean aluminum foil

  • All colors and types of bottles accepted

 

Does NOT accept the following items:

  • Microwave meal boxes with foil inside

  • Mirrors

  • Windows

Recycling Guide

 

This guide provides an easily accessible list of recyclable materials.  

Cardboard

 

The bins labeled cardboard accept the following items:

  • Corrugated cardboard ONLY (thick and durable)

 

**Break down all of your boxes before recycling them**

 

Does NOT accept the following items:

  • paperboard (cereal boxes, tissue boxes)

  • Mixed paper of any kind (please put these in the mixed paper bins)
